I discovered Thai Bodywork while training for my 235 hour yoga teacher certification. My teacher Tanya Boigenzahn offered an intro to Thai in December 2011, and since then I have completed my 300 hour Registered Thai Therapist certification. I have loved studying with Tanya and have also been grateful to have studied with Bob Haddad, founder of Thai Healing Alliance International (THAI), and Master Pichest Boonthumme in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

I started my yoga journey on the West coast in a little mountain village in the Northern Cascades of Washington. I found that yoga provided much more than physical benefits and began to explore the spiritual aspect to yoga with pranayama and meditation. I began my teacher training at Devanadi Yoga
http://www.devanadiyoga.com and immediately knew I found my teacher and sangha (community). I continued my studies with my teacher Tanya Boigenzhan and am now a 500 hour Registered Yoga Teacher. I have also studied with Pandit Rajmani Tigunait, Rod Stryker, Dr. Indu Arora, Lauren Toolin, Kathryn Mirsky, Katie Silcox, David Kyle, Rolf Sovik and Matthew Sanford. My recent love and training has been with Cecily Milne of Yoga Detour. This style of teaching movement marries common yoga poses with strength based mobility work. Inspiration comes from Functional Range Conditioning, Kinstretch, my own experience teaching strength classes incorporating TRX, Kettlebells and rowing. |
